Question: Please confirm your answer.

God’s answer:

Blood is thicker than water.

Question: You also said when we sin you look at our bright side. That can be difficult especially when the person doesn’t show any bright side or what they did is so bad that it’s hard to see any good in them. How is this possible in such situations?

God’s answer:

Dig deeper. Try and try again.

Question: So, looking at a person’s bright side is part of forgiving?

God’s answer:

Handy tool
It helps a lot. There’s hope.

Meaning: looking at their bright side is to find some redeeming quality about the person.

Question: This looking at someone’s bright side, I find that many people use this as an excuse... like people who stay in abusive relationships and justify it by saying: ”but there’s a good side to him/ her”, etc. Can you comment on this?

God’s answer:

Turning a blind eye is not forgiveness.

Question: What do you call this?

God’s answer:

Doormat
They have low self-worth.
There’s such a thing as being too nice.

Question: Please confirm.

God’s answer:

Ding-dong

Meaning: Ding-dong is the sound of a doorbell (doormat---doorbell). It is also a derogatory term meaning a silly or foolish person, someone who doesn’t think.

Question: Do you want me to add this answer (ding-dong)? It’s sort of very insulting considering these people I am referring to are in bad situations.

God’s answer:

“Wake up!”
They need a slap in the face.

Question: I find it easier to forgive when I don’t have to deal with the person all the time but how can one do this if you are with a person who keeps on doing the same things over and over?

God’s answer:

Forgiveness is not tolerance.
Send them a postcard.
